Lainey Gossip reports that Jennifer Aniston, 39, was seen getting pretty cosy with rough and tumble heartthrob Gerard Butler, 38, at the Toronto Film Festival over the weekend. This was one night after Aniston was seen having a mixed business/pleasure meeting with model Matt Felker, which whom she’s been linked in the past. Aniston is hot and single and she’s working it.

My sources tell me exclusively they met up the other night over dinner but the nature of the discussion was more business and strategy than romance and relationships. Then again, when it comes to Jen, it’s all connected.

Matt is working on a film… Jen could probably help with that. And like Paul Sculfor, Matt has certain services too. Unfortunately for Matt, his potential dried up the next night. Blame Gerry Butler.

As mentioned yesterday, Gerard Butler loved the TIFF scene so much, he returned to Toronto after leaving on Friday just to extend his experience, showing up randomly to several carpets, and at the Hyatt Roof Lounge on Sunday night.

Jen and her entourage also hit up the Hyatt after her screening on Sunday too. Didn’t take long for the two of them to gravitate towards each other, ending up with their heads bent together in a flirty, intimate conversation, at one point I’m told his hand was placed on that sexy part of the thigh. He was also spotted rubbing her shoulder and back, leaning in close to her ear, and she of course was returning his attraction with that patented hairplay she’s perfected over the years.

Lainey is definitely not an Aniston fan, but she does get good insider gossip and scoops and this could possibly be true. In April, Butler previously hit out against rumors that he was dating actress Cameron Diaz by using a super rude analogy to say he’s not sleeping with every women he’s spotted with:

“If I take a dog for a walk, apparently I’m f’king my dog!”

Well, he was stroking Aniston’s leg. I guess if he pets his dog he’s not getting up to anything more with it, either.

The Mirror has picked up this story, which likely originated with Lainey, and simply said, “Our spies tell us the serial dater has been seen out and about with Gerald Butler.”

Meanwhile Aniston says all is well in good in her world, and told People “Things couldn’t be better.” Maybe she was getting some action from Butler at that point. That could improve your outlook.
